My English School

Founded in 2011 in Florence, My English School (MyES) offers English courses for adults, students, teenagers, and corporate clients across Italy and Europe. MyES operates in the English language training sector,  through a network of English language centers located in Italy, France, and Spain, combining company-owned centers—in Milan, Rome, and Bologna—and other centers run under a franchise model.

Traditional education systems in countries like Italy, Spain, and France often fail to equip students with effective English language skills. According to Pearson, this is due to a lack of practical use and outdated teaching methods. Italy, Spain and France rank among the lowest in Europe in the EF English Proficiency Index (32nd, 26th, and 33rd out of 35 countries respectively).

In particular, in Italy, INVALSI assessments show that many students struggle to achieve even intermediate (B1/B2) levels of English proficiency.

As a result, limited English skills hinder access to higher education, reduce international mobility, and weaken employability in an increasingly globalized job market.
